Messaging & Support
There are two ways to get help inside Apptonomy: the in-app messaging panel for a back-and-forth conversation, and the Support Center for a one-off request or a look through the FAQ. This page also covers deleting your account.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You need to be signed in. Both surfaces live inside the app.
- Nothing else is required — messaging and the contact form are available on every plan.
In-app messaging
Section titled “In-app messaging”Messaging is a threaded conversation with the Apptonomy team, kept in one place so you can follow it over time.
1. Open the panel
Section titled “1. Open the panel”Click the round message button fixed to the bottom-right of the app. It carries an unread badge when there are new replies waiting. The panel slides in from the right.
2. Start a conversation
Section titled “2. Start a conversation”In the panel, start a New Conversation and fill in:
- Subject — a brief summary of your issue.
- Category (optional) — Question, Bug Report, Feature Request, or Billing.
- Message — describe your issue or question in detail.
You can attach files to the message. Click Send Message to open the thread.
3. Follow the thread
Section titled “3. Follow the thread”Replies appear in the same thread and mark themselves read when you view them. Your open conversations are listed in the panel; you can also open a thread full-screen from the Messages page.
The Support Center
Section titled “The Support Center”The Support Center is the page to use for a single request or to browse answers before reaching out.
1. Open Support
Section titled “1. Open Support”Go to the Support Center from the app. It links out to this full documentation site and shows a short FAQ.
2. Send a support request
Section titled “2. Send a support request”Fill in the Contact Support form:
- Subject — a brief description of your issue.
- Request Type — Technical Support, General Question, Feature Suggestion, Bug Report, or Other.
- Priority — Low, Normal, High, or Urgent.
- Message — describe your issue in detail.
Click Send Message. You’ll see a confirmation that the message was received. You can also email the team directly at support@apptonomy.ai.
Delete your account
Section titled “Delete your account”Account deletion is permanent and lives in the Support Center.
1. Open the Danger Zone
Section titled “1. Open the Danger Zone”Scroll to the Delete Account panel (the red “Danger Zone”) in the Support Center and click Delete Account.
2. Confirm
Section titled “2. Confirm”A confirmation dialog explains what will be removed:
- All your projects.
- All connections to App Store and Google Play.
Type DELETE ACCOUNT into the field to enable the button, then click Delete Account.
Verify it worked
Section titled “Verify it worked”- A sent message shows a confirmation, and messaging threads appear in the panel with your message at the top.
- After account deletion, you’re signed out and returned to the app’s entry point.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”I sent a support message but got an error
Section titled “I sent a support message but got an error”The form shows “Error sending message. Please try again.” if the request didn’t go through — usually a dropped connection. Resubmit; if it keeps failing, email support@apptonomy.ai directly.
The Delete Account button is greyed out
Section titled “The Delete Account button is greyed out”The button only enables once you’ve typed DELETE ACCOUNT exactly, in capitals, into the confirmation field. This is deliberate friction on an irreversible action.
