Project Notifications

Each project has a Notifications feed that records events worth knowing about — when an audit finishes or fails, when a tracked competitor changes their listing, and when store credentials need attention. It’s the project’s activity log, in-app.

Why it matters

You don’t have to babysit a project to know when something changed. Scheduled audits, competitor tracking, and credential checks all post here, so the feed is the one place to catch up on what happened while you were away. Anyone in the organization sees the project’s notifications; whether an item is read is tracked per person, so your unread count is yours.

How to read it

Open Notifications from the sidebar. The sidebar item carries an unread badge (capped at 99+) so you can see there’s something new without opening it.

Each row shows an icon colored by severity, a title, a short body, the time it happened, and a type label. The types are:

  • Audit complete — a scheduled or manual audit finished. Open it to jump to the results.
  • Audit failed — an audit didn’t complete. Open it to see the run and retry.
  • Competitor changes — a tracked competitor changed their store listing.
  • Store credentials need attention — App Store Connect or Google Play access has a problem that’s blocking audits or data. Fix it from the Watchtower banner or store-link settings.
  • Store credentials reconnected — access that was previously broken is working again.
  • System update — a general, informational notice.

Unread rows are tinted and carry a filled dot. Rows that link somewhere (an audit, a competitor view) are clickable — clicking the row body takes you there.

Managing unread

  • Mark one read or unread — click the dot at the right of a row to toggle its state.
  • Mark everything read — use Mark all as read at the top. It’s disabled when nothing is unread.
  • Load older items — Load more at the bottom pulls the next page of history.

When there’s nothing to show, the feed reads “You’re all caught up.”
