What's distinctive.

1

Past the looks localized trap.

Stores serve your original-language listing in markets you never localized, so a listing can look localized when it is not. The engine cuts through that ambiguity and reports real coverage per language, per storefront.

2

Content-hash against your baseline.

Each language listing is fetched through the official store adapter and content-hashed against your English baseline, so you can see whether iOS has German coverage while Android does not.

3

Analysis, not translation.

Localization Analysis is the analysis layer that audits existing localized listings and surfaces what is wrong. Localize, the separate translation product, drafts and publishes the localized listings the analysis identifies as missing.

The methodology.

"A listing that looks localized in a market you never localized is just your English default in disguise."
  1. 1

    Fetch every locale

For each storefront, the engine pulls the per-locale description through the official Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console store adapters across 22 commercially significant languages.

  2. 2

    Content-hash against the English baseline

Each fetched locale is content-hashed against your English baseline to classify it as localized, default-fallback, or partial. The comparison is fully deterministic by design, so the coverage baseline is reproducible.

  3. 3

    Prioritize gaps by market volume

Languages serving the English default are ranked by category install volume, so the markets where missing localization costs you the most surface first.

  4. 4

    Ranked, explainable recommendations

Findings convert to recommendation rows with the rationale and the gap context that triggered each one, ready for the Weekly Revision Plan.

Data sources

Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console store adapters for per-locale descriptions; store-supported language configurations.

AI's role

None on the coverage measurement itself. This engine is deterministic by design. AI enters only downstream, when the Content Generation engine generates localized metadata for the gaps the analysis identifies.

A real recommendation, end to end.

This is the shape of a recommendation row in the Weekly Revision Plan. The reasoning, the sources, and the projected impact are part of the row — not buried in a tooltip.
